The author takes us to a very noisy village to introduce us to the animals that inhabit in it. In addition to rooster, sheep, horse, cow, donkey and pigs, we will also hear a dog and a cat. On the right side you will find a panel that runs sounds.

The graphics are pleasant, very colorful and detailed. The child sees on first site something that has already happened (awakened animals) and on second site something that will be happening on the following pages (animals that are just awakened). Additionaly, everywhere are "hidden" spiders, mice, birds, snails, (etc.) which I have to listen about each time I watch the book.

Zo is younger than the recommended age (18 m), so it's a bit difficult to approach. She likes this book for details, for the animals. She likes when we read it. Well, but it's a sound book ... If the sound comes on accidentally, she reacts with fear. If she's prepared, it's all playing. She also repeats sounds like a parrot.

I think that the book has one minus - due to "our" age - Zo's hard to feel these buttons. They are not separated, so there is one long cardboard strip, which plays only when you push in the middle. Our tester can’t handle them very well yet. On the positive side are the tabs-animals that tell the child which animal should sound, and also are useful when Zo is looking for a specific one.

Others in the collection Noisy:
Circus, Noah’s Ark, Orchestra, Bottoms, Diggers, Body Book, Pets, Numbers, Train, Robots, Football Match, ZOO, Dinosaurs, Jungle, Christmas, Tractor, Town, Animals, Funfair, Pirates

On the publishing website you will find information and demo versions of sounds:
