I
introduce you, a series of books based on the television series Ben and Holly,
which was created by Neville Astley and Mark Baker. They are the creators of
Peppa's pig. The cardboard packaging contains six books, each with a different
character: Princess Holly, Elf Ben, Gaston Ladybird, Nanny Plum, King and Queen
Thistle, Fairies and Elves. We will find out who is who in the Little Kingdom.
Who has what skills, we will know his habits, advantages and disadvantages.
The
graphics are specific, simple and pastel. The books have a "puzzle"
on their backs: if we arrange them in the right order, Gaston will appear to
our eyes. The next puzzles can be found at the back of the books. There we will
find the stage of Ben, Holly and Gaston playing. The books have a small size
(about 9x9cm).
Zo
got them because she love into the show. It was a natural consequence: buy
books, because we love reads. As you can easily guess, she loved them. She arranges,
demolishes the box, watches and talks about Gaston Ladybird (who acts as a dog
in booklet).
I
think they’re some of the coolest books we have. The graphics are pretty. The
fact that they’re about fairies and elves also pleases me. However, their
greatest advantage is compactness. If we go somewhere, I don’t throw a few
books into the bag, just a box with Ben and Holly. It isn't heavy (the
publisher declares 323g), I don’t need to have a full bag, and I have books and
puzzles. For me it's a great thing. I would recommend!
