There is nothing revealing
that cats are the main figure in the book about cats. On each page you will
find a rhyme and another cat, as well as an emphasis on some cat detail, eg on
a moist toe. This detail is exposed by the use of tinder material. In the booklet
we can find an oilcloth, a slippery nose, suede patches and wool ears.
The graphics are simple, which is a big advantage of this book. Cat is a cat. He has ears, nose, eyes,
mustaches. Patches, slippers or belts, but it's still a cat. The sensory
elements are large and made in a permanent way. They will work great for a small
child who is not yet fully aware that if he pulls something, he will break off.
Zo loves kittens, so her
opinion about the book would be biased. And a page with a black cat with a damp
nose stole her little heart.
The book is solid, nice,
simple and easy to clean. The last one will be appreciated by those moms who
have already seen yoghurt kisses in their books. In short, the book is just
right for the annual kittens.
