A lovable lion with rainbow mane acquaints the child with shapes (circle, square, oval, rectangle, triangle, heart, star, diamond, crescent). The learning of each of them begins with a stroke of the figure and a great name. The rhyme about this figure is rhymed. Then we have several items in the shape discussed. All are signed. Underneath everything in the frame there are tasks for the toddler. Some shapes have two sides. There are more tasks on the "other pages".

The graphics are very diverse. These are drawings, graphics, photos. All this combines only the lion and shape. The fonts are different and they give shape to the whole. The tasks are very cool. They don’t only apply to shapes. I think that they force the child to think, eg "how many crayons can you see? What do you like to draw with crayons?"

It's one of the new books, so Zo doesn’t let her go. A multitude of elements makes her dizzy. I know this because I’m asked by the number of questions "what is it?".

If I don’t like the large variety of graphics, I understand that it shows the child how various things can have the same shape. This book is completely different than books for children 9m + (which are in our library). I don’t know if every 5-year-old would deal with her. The child must think about abstract things, know colors, shapes and numbers. The book
requires the involvement of a parent and child - it is great!
